Description:
CSL Behring is currently recruiting for a Facility Coordination Officer to join our team ( Bulk Value Stream) at Broadmeadows site. This role is a full-time permanent (ongoing) role and will suit an individual that has proven experience with building collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and customers. The Coordination Officer will also assist with the coordination of global and site strategic projects that are related to yield and capacity and operation readiness.
You will partner closely with the Senior Manager and Front Line Leaders in an ‘enabling’ capacity, such that operations efficiently and reliably deliver product with the right quality, at the right cost of goods, in the correct quantity (yield) and timing (DIFOT).
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Bulk Manufacturing you will work onsite and will assist in the planning and implementation of improvement initiatives including EHS risk assessments, investigations, and mitigations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Experience in a similar manufacturing role (or Operator role) in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Food industry.
- Experience with quality control and quality assurance systems including an understanding of regulatory guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate project activities and liaise across functional groups to meet project targets and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Leadership team to ensure activities and resources align with the manufacturing schedule, cost-efficiently and consistently. Ensure compliance with cGMP principles, regulatory standards, and CSL policies.
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance activities and coordinate plant access and clean-up for maintenance during shutdowns, ensuring proper handover of equipment and facilities.
- Support production activities to meet the Quarterly schedule cost-efficiently, providing updates at team meetings and notifying managers early of any schedule risks.
- Keep procedures and documentation up to date to avoid production impacts. Report on preventative activities and small improvement projects.
- Provide reports, KPIs, and communications as directed by the Senior Manager. Support other operational improvement initiatives and routine system transactions.
