FACILITY ENGINEER

Bilton Welding and Manufacturing Ltd. (Bilton) is seeking a new member to our management team that will play a significant role in driving growth, project development and execution within our Company.
This position will spearhead the development and construction of a state-of-the-art production facility, which will be used to manufacture leading edge energy transition equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • A strong understanding of manufacturing business operations in order to achieve business goals.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field with experience in manufacturing and facility development would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Proven experience in project development, management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in overseeing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and development of new business projects, including the development of new facilities, from study design through analysis to complete implementation.
  • Plan, design, and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
  • Provide oversight and direction on project development through to execution by supervising and training team members to achieve project goals.
  • Create strategic plans for the growth and development of business ideas and opportunities.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the development and execution of high-quality solutions.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, working closely with appropriate stakeholders for effective resolutions.
  • Negotiate complex agreements and contracts related to projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the senior management team to develop project development ideas in line with the company’s mission, vision, values, and operational goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
