JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

FlexEdge is currently recruiting experienced Facility Location Coordinator to join a facility cleaning company.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a facility cleaning company.
Job Title: Facility Location Coordinator (Cleaning)
Location: Lagos, Ikeja.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct cleaning operatives, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently.
  • Recruit, assign, and manage cleaning operatives across various locations.
  • Conduct regular job inspections and quality control checks to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Conduct Quality control checks, gather customer feedback and promptly address any queries, complaints, or issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring service satisfaction.
  • Implement and manage feedback mechanisms to continuously improve customer service.
  • Train new cleaning operatives on expected standards, general cleaning quality, and health and safety protocols.
  • Set and monitor performance objectives, conduct probation reviews, and handle staff appraisals.
  • Develop and manage cleaning schedules for all sites and one-off jobs.
  • Monitor supervisors and mid-level staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee logistics and ensure all machinery and tools are properly maintained.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including HR-related processes such as on-boarding, training, and employee welfare.
  • Handle employee complaints, grievances, and discipline issues appropriately.
  • Produce professional reports, presentations, and briefs.
  • Delegate tasks as needed to team members.
  • Generate leads and follow up to increase revenue.
  • Develop strategies to expand market share and grow the company’s client base.
  • Conduct impromptu site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documents.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the organization’s goals

Basic Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years Previous experience in a facility cleaning company is compulsory
  • Work experience with hospital facility cleaning
  • Ability to coordinate, direct, and monitor cleaning operatives in their duties
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve them promptly
  • Good leadership skills
  • Ability to conduct training sessions for new cleaning operatives
  • Ability to set and monitor appropriate performance objectives and standards for staff
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure
