Job Description

We are seeking an organized and efficient Facility Manager to join our team in Bioggio, Switzerland. In this role, you will be managing and maintaining our facility operations, ensuring a safe and productive work environment for all employees.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs
  • Manage facility-related projects and renovations
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Creating and maintaining facility management documentation and reports
  • Support the development and implementation of facility policies and procedures
  • Respond to and resolve facility-related issues and employee requests in a timely manner
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost control for facility operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient space utilization and workplace optimization

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in facility management or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Fluency in Italian and English; German is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Safety officer) are a plus
