Description:

FACILITY OPERATIONS MANAGER

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the overall maintenance, safety and quality of council’s building asset portfolio.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with community goals.
  • Champion sustainable management practises to minimise environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a customer-centric culture.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Facility Operations Manager plays a critical leadership role in managing the Facility Operations team. This position is responsible for the strategic maintenance and management of the Council’s building assets, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with relevant standards. The successful candidate will drive initiatives that align with the Council’s Community Strategic Plan, while also promoting sustainable practises and resource efficiency.
Key responsibilities include overseeing facility maintenance operations, coordinating resources and contractors, managing graffiti prevention programs, and fostering staff development to enhance service outcomes and employee satisfaction.
