Description:

Riverside Overview: Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position Overview:
This position supports security measures necessary for implementing requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and government security regulations, policies and procedures. Primary duties include the execution of the daily security program requirements for the National Air and Space Intelligence (NASIC) security program. To include maintaining records, manuals and documentation while coordinating and administering security DD254 forms, security policies and procedures in accordance with the Department of Defense or appropriate agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, track, and monitor DD254’s forms ensuring 100% accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify contractor eligibility to perform on such contracts, and provides advice and guidance to contracting officers to ensure conformity with NISP requirements.
  • Perform research and reviews, Performance Work Statements (PWS), Sole Source Justifications, Performance Surveillance Requirements (PRS), Operations and Maintenance requirements in the preparation of procurement packages and contract specifications
  • Support technology protection with tailored security language.
  • Maintain tracking and verification of assigned personnel security clearance information utilizing the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
  • Resolve difficult and complex security problems or issues, as well as to develop new methods and proposed new policy.
  • Assist in appointing contract monitors and ensures correct contract security specifications for contracts requiring access to special compartmented information (SCI).

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI
  • Strong knowledge of the NISPOM and the aspects specific to the execution of the Industrial Security Program. To include personnel security; classified information systems Assessment & Authorization; classified contract management and contract security classification specification (DD254) preparation; physical security; insider threat program; counterterrorism and counterintelligence; administrative inquiries, etc.
  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree, 6 years with a Masters degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge and experience enforcing security policies and procedures.
  • Experienced in the management of a cleared facility.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
