Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Facility Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance and logistics at our Dublin office. This role offers a consistent schedule of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.
It combines facilities upkeep with shipping and receiving duties, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Facilities Maintenance & Management:
- Perform and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and safety systems.
- Schedule preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Liase with vendors for specialised maintenance, while keeping the facilities clean, safe and regulatory-compliant.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and assist in facility improvement and sustainability projects.
- Sit at the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for visitors; will be required to answer or receive calls as needed.
Health & Safety:
- Conduct safety inspections, address hazards and ensure compliance with HSA regulations.
- Support emergency response procedures and collaborate with the Safety Supervisor on safety initiatives.
Shipping & Receiving:
- Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate processing and documentation of shipments.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments, report discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date inventory records in the management system.
Inventory & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory levels.
- Prepare and file shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs forms.
- Assist with facilities budgeting and track expenses for cost-saving opportunities.
