Our client is an industry leader in manufacturing in Southeast Asia, with over 300 employees operating in Singapore and Indonesia. The company’s clients are wide-ranging and include multi-national companies in the medical, automative, industrial and aviation industries.
The Factory General Manager’s main responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory in Bintan.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Formulate plans and procedures to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability. Identify opportunities to optimize operational processes and reduce costs.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operations across various departments which involves planning, production, engineering, quality control and logistics management.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance. Monitor these metrics regularly, identify areas for improvement as needed.
• To plan and manage operational budgets, manpower planning, equipment utilization and Capex investment.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies, including contingency plans and business continuity measures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and legal requirements. Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.
• Provide leadership and guidance to operational teams. To foster a culture of positive, dynamic, and professional team.
• Present operational updates, performance reports to the CEO and the board of directors.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum university graduate in business or engineering with more than 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
• Ethical, diplomatic, observant, logical-reasoning.
• Have knowledge and competent in Indonesia tax, customs, & manpower regulations.
• Dynamic in work
