Responsibilities:
- You will ensure that the manufacturing team are sufficiently trained and motivated to meet production deadlines and goals, whilst consistently maintaining a high-quality standard.
- You will be responsible for delivering the probability goals of the business, ensuring that the factory production meets set targets to specified deadlines.
- You will work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that all of the company’s orders and logistical requirements are met.
- You will liaise with the Timber Frame Design department, working closely on drawings for each house type, to aim to resolve any issues as they arise and suggest any improvements.
- You will oversee the performance, wellbeing and people management of all factory employees, consistently striving to develop and engage your team, with a key focus on succession planning and recruitment strategies.
- You will be required to deputise for the Factory Director on occasion where necessary and attend bi-weekly management and/or board meetings as required.
