Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled production supervisor to join our team. You will oversee daily operations and ensure production targets are met efficiently.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication skills to actively listen to stakeholders and clearly verbalise ideas and action plans
  • Excellent organisational skills to plan production schedules and ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment
  • Strong analytical skills to determine problems within the production process and take appropriate action
  • Good time-management skills to minimise downtime and ensure a team works efficiently
  • The ability to cope with pressure and make sound decisions quickly
  • A firm understanding of health and safety regulations
    Hours: 05:45am – 14:30pm. 40 hours per week, inclusive of a 15-minute tea break and a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for 4 key areas - Health and Safety, Quality, Production and Team development
  • Allocate tasks to team members
  • Supervise production processes and monitor quality standards
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on equipment operation and safety procedures
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
