Stanstead College is now taking applications for a Housekeeping Worker to join our team!

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, both inside and outside the College (residence, classrooms, offices);
• Clean and disinfect the furniture, walls and floors;
• Perform seasonal heavy duty (housecleaning, window washing, etc.);
• Empty trashcans and recycling;
• Floor cleaning, refinishing, polishing (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and buffing);
• Meet the schedule of the housekeeping work set by management;
• Follow health and safety policies;
• Respect the policies, procedures and the department’s service standards;
• Report any items requiring maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have the knowledge of use of commercial cleaning products. The candidate must also be organized, pay attention to details and be in good physical condition. Experience in housekeeping would be an asset.
