Faculty, Business Administration: Human Resource Management

BCIT’s School of Business and Media is seeking a temporary, part-time (0.4 FTE) Faculty, Business Administration to teach in the area of Human Resource Management up to and including the undergraduate level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in an appropriate area.
• Recent relevant work and/or teaching experience.
• Desire and ability to teach and to support learning processes.
• Ability to work with a diverse student body.
• Willing to use, or explore and learn to use, information technology tools as aids to student learning.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willing to become fully involved in departmental activities and initiatives.
• Ability to work in a collegial environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctorate degree.
• Minimum 5 years experience teaching in a post-secondary educational institution face-to-face and in the online environment.
• Membership or certification in appropriate professional bodies.
• Recent management and leadership experience.
