ABOUT THE JOB FACULTY COORDINATOR
City University Ajman is seeking a motivated and organized Faculty Coordinator to join our team.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and administrative support services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the assigned faculty departments and the Office of the Vice Chancellor.
- Direct walk-in visitors to the appropriate academic and administrative offices.
- Maintain the general filing system and file all important correspondence.
- Compile and maintain records.
- Read and screen incoming correspondence and reports; make preliminary assessments of the importance of materials and organize documents; handle some matters personally and forward appropriate materials to the Department Head.
- Respond to inquiries, receive and screen incoming calls and visitors, and alert the concerned department personnel accordingly.
- Compose letters and memoranda upon the instruction of the Department Head.
- Take minutes of meetings.
- Coordinate office management activities for the staff and department chair.
- Make referrals to appropriate staff or provide requested information.
- Act as a liaison between College Faculty and Administration departments.
- Maintain adequate CUA stationery.
- Attend meetings when necessary; perform other related duties when required.
- Perform other duties as required.
