TENURE-TRACK POSITION IN PLACE-BASED, INDIGENOUS LAND-BASED AND CLIMATE JUSTICE EDUCATION

The Department of Educational Foundations, College of Education, University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level commencing January 1, 2025 with a focus on place-based, Indigenous land-based, and climate justice education.
The successful candidate will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in formal or community education settings and will employ experiential pedagogies. A social justice stance built on anti-racist/anti-oppressive practices and Indigenous relationships to the land is core to this position. The candidate will have completed a doctoral degree in an appropriate specialization and possess the ability to work across disciplines. Preference will be given to candidates who have education and research relating to the theory and practice of place based and climate justice education, as well as community engagement experience. All faculty will conduct research, scholarly, and/or artistic work and contribute to collegial processes in the College of Education and the University of Saskatchewan.

Salary bands for this position are as follows:
Assistant Professor: $99,945 to $120,099; Associate Professor: $120,099 to $140,253
