Description:

Job title: Family Advocacy Program Assistant.
Location: Kaiserslautern ACS, Germany.
Job Type: Full Time.
Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, Nursing, Counseling or Behavioral Science, Education or Community/Public Health from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Family and children’s services or community organization, with experience in Family violence.

Duties:

  • Compile and report monthly training, including data on incoming commanders.
  • Prepare and process daily FAP correspondence following military regulations.
  • Manage and maintain attendance rosters for FAP workshops, classes, seminars, and training.
  • Serve as a point of contact for FAP marketing, including the coordination, development, ordering, delivery, and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Schedule, confirm, and attend meetings as required.
  • Assist in facilitating and supporting FAP trainings and classes.
  • Provide support services to victims of family violence as needed.
