Description:

To work effectively within the team and across all agencies as required, optimising outcomes for school age children and their To participate in providing community experience for new members of staff or other personnel. To provide a safe, secure, inclusive and stimulating environment in schools and community settings and to establish an effective and collaborative relationship with school age children and parents/carers To take part in parenting programmes in accordance with the Healthy Child Programme in order to support families in their parenting role. Advise and assist parents in developing their parenting skills individually or in groups. Plan and coordinate health promotion sessions as required.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised structured toileting programmes and care plans using evidenced based advice and information to parents, carers and staff in the home, clinic, and school. to carry out continence assessments, provide advice and if required refer, with parental consent, to the childrens continence service under the supervision of a school nurse To work closely with the school nurse Team Leader to identify and work with children and families who require support and deliver the agreed menu of interventions The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.90 This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13
