Bliss Law Group (BLG) is expanding! We are now accepting resumes from top-tier Family Law Paralegals to join our team.Compensation:
$30 - $35 hourlyResponsibilities:
In this highly visible role, you’ll be engaging with clients, drafting documents, performing research, managing calendars, and assisting with mediation and trial preparation, all the while adhering to the rules of professional ethics.
You’ll also hold the title of resident magician, miracle worker, and mind reader. Okay, so that last one might be a bit facetious, but a Paralegal who knows a declaration needs to be done and gets a draft to the attorney before the attorney asks for it is indispensable to that attorney.

Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with BLG attorneys and team members.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s story, challenges, and case goals.
  • Expertly manage calendars, ensuring deadlines, hearings, and appointments are never missed.
  • Maintain meticulously organized client files with standardized naming conventions.
  • Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and declarations.
  • Prepare court forms and manage discovery requests.
  • Assist attorneys with mediation and trial preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing parties, and third parties.
  • Ensure all documents are properly filed and served on time.
  • Provide timely and regular case updates to clients.
  • Post billings each day.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in Family Law matters.
  • Working knowledge of Washington Family Law, and Pierce County rules and procedures.
  • Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Client-facing experience.
