Description:
The primary objective of the Farm Maintenance Technician is to provide maintenance services to Eichelberger sow farm buildings and equipment. The individual will have the ability to communicate effectively with site managers to ensure all facilities operate at the highest level of efficiency
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver license with clean driving record

Responsibilities:
- Feed system repair and routine lubrication.
- Maintaining and repair fans and controllers
- Maintenance of heating and cooling systems within the units.
- Maintain and repair alarm system.
- Maintain an accurate log book for all maintenance performed.
- Occasional welding
- Comply with bio-security protocols such as:
- Shower IN/OUT procedures
- Adhere to PRRS pyramid
- Maintain a clean truck
- Utilization of fogger rooms at all time
- Proper shoe cover procedure between car and sow farm entry
