Warakirri is excited to be in the market for a Farm Office Manager for a large-scale institutional cropping aggregation (irrigated cotton and dryland) in south-west Queensland.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain accurate and timely farm management records and data within various management systems, including but not limited to Timesheets (Deputy), Farm Records (AgWorld), Accounts Payable (SAPConcur), Grain Management System (AgriChain), Contractor Management System (Protech) and Safety Management System (Lucidity).
  • Reviewing and coding accounts for payment.
  • Reconciling corporate credit card purchases – NAB Flexipurchase.
  • Maintain accurate asset records of farm infrastructure, plant and equipment, spare parts and inventory, including stocktakes.
  • Registration & Licence payments and record keeping.
  • Support the Farm Manager and team with budgets, presentations, and technology.
  • Provide training and support to farm employees in farm management systems and ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Facilitate onboarding of new employees and inductions.
  • Facilitate onboarding of new contractors, including required pre-start paperwork and inductions in the Safety Management System.
  • Maintain farm contractor register and coordinate associated paperwork.
  • Provide Safety system user support to new starters and assist in recording and monitoring all identified risks, action items, and delivery dates.
  • Review and monitor employee training requirements regarding Licences and Safety Training as well as personal development requirements.
  • Manage office operations by handling inquiries, farm phone and email, and prioritising tasks.
  • Any other administration tasks to help meet month-end reporting requirements.
  • Filing, archiving, mail, and general office support.
  • Local event management/travel assistance for company conferences, staff training, and onboarding.
