Farm Supervisor

Dyck Farms in the Blumenhof Saskatchewan area is looking for help on our grain farm in hiring a Farm Supervisor. This role will involve operating advanced machinery, maintaining our yard and shop. ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Operation of farm machinery that could include spraying, grain cart operation, combine, variety of tractors and farm machinery.
• Maintain and fixing of farm machinery if required.
• Grain transportation (trucking) field to farm and farm to terminal ( valid 1A License required)
• Data Management: Utilize precision agriculture technologies to monitor crop health and yield data, making real- time adjustments to improve productivity.
• Shop inventory and upkeep
• Special projects (Bin Construction, Field Prep, Grain bagging)
• Other General farm duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1- 2 years agricultural experience
• Mechanically inclined
• Class 1A driver’s license (Asset)
• Capability to run all farm equipment safely
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment
• The ability to adapt to different people and work styles
• Willingness to work long hours during seeding and harvest
