Job title: FCAS Retained – Secure Infrastructure Project Manager

Salary: £54,793+ depending on experience

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Strong project management experience
  • Budget management experience
  • Good understanding of Agile working practices
  • Demonstrates experience delivering technical capabilities in controlled environments
  • Familiar with Waterfall / Jira and Confluence
  • Good IT knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Manages aspects of the Project lifecycle enabling the Project to meet the needs of customers/users and achieve financial or other targets
  • Enables uptake of the Programme(s) aims of introducing Agile ways of working, supporting and evaluating new ways of working and monitoring performance
  • Provides advice and guidance for effective use of measures and also plans and implements improvements to measurement capability
  • Determines the readiness levels of business areas with regard to upcoming changes; uncovers readiness gaps and creates and implements action plans to remediate issues
  • Assists the user community in the provision of transition support and change planning
  • Deals with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information. Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management
  • Utilises methods, tools, techniques; selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches
  • Assists in the development of new or improved practices and organisational processes or standards and facilitates localised improvements to the quality system or services
