Responsibilities:

  • As a supervisor, this position communicates with, motivates, provides or coordinates training, evaluates employee’s work, plans and directs the employees’ work, and has authority to hire or recommends the hire, transfer or discipline subordinate employees.
  • The employee in this position performs independent work providing administrative oversight to enhance accountability and to standardize operational processes. The incumbent reports directly to the Regional Director of Community Corrections.
  • Specific responsibilities include the following:
  • Preparation, tracking, updates and validation of employee staffing data to include:
  • Organizational Roster, Vacancy Report, Lapse Report, OBIS/OT13 and PP40, Special Caseload reports and staffing/workload ratios.
  • Coordinates with Circuit Administration and Service Center Personnel Officer to ensure timely recruiting, advertising and filling of vacancies.
  • Preparation and analysis of quality assurance reports that are utilized to monitor compliance with Florida Statutes and Department procedures.
  • Prepares periodic and special reports as requested by internal and external agencies.
