Description:
SALARY AND HOURS
£17.91 per hour. 4 hours per week, 3 hours teaching, 1 hour planning & marking
FE Resources are looking for an immediately available Lecturer in Law (part of our Social Sciences Degree) to provide the highest quality educational experience in Law in the following areas - Year 1 Policing Society and in Year 2 Social Perspectives on International Law, using vocational knowledge and experience to deliver teaching, learning and assessment that inspires students and prepares them for progression.
Essential:
- Degree in Criminology, Sociology, Law, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) – minimum level 4.
Desirable:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Criminology, Sociology, Law, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in criminology or related fields.
Essential Experience:
- Teaching experience, preferably of teaching HE in FE.
- In-depth knowledge of policing, society, and social perspectives on international law.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create inclusive learning environments.
- Assessment and feedback skills
- IT literacy
