Are you a highly motivated individual looking to start or expand your aquaculture career? We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our feeding team at the Company’s Seawater site at Seaforth, situated on the Isle of Harris. If you have an analytical mind and strive for best feeding practices, then this is the role for you.
This post is offered on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to work a one week on/one week off rotational basis, providing an excellent work/life balance opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring best feeding practices are implemented
- Monitoring feed response and fish behaviours
- Adjusting feeding as appropriate to ensure maximum potential growth for each crop
- Working closely with Farm Managers to ensure feeding practices are in line with Company practices
- Supporting the wider operations team from time to time by carrying out general farm tasks to keep the whole operation runnin
