Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fiber Optic Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design, planning, and documentation of fiber optic networks. This role requires proficiency in high-level and low-level design, GIS mapping, route analysis, and creating as-built drawings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network designs meet technical specifications and project goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fiber optic design and deployment.
- Proficiency with GIS software and tools for mapping and route planning.
- Strong understanding of high-level and low-level design principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in fiber optic network construction.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
