Description:

Microchips play an increasingly crucial role in the growth and competitiveness of Finnish companies. Finland has set a goal to triple the industry’s revenue and job creation by 2035, with the EU’s Chip Act as a key enabler of this growth. In collaboration with our industrial and research partners, we are working towards establishing a chip competence centre in Finland.
Join us in advancing Europe’s chip industry!
The FiCCC project is looking for a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for maintaining clear communication channels among all stakeholders and managing project coordination activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for and managing FiCCC’s communications.
  • Managing internal communications within the FiCCC consortium and supporting the development of information flow within the consortium under the direction of the FiCCC Director.
  • Collaborating with Tamlink’s communications and overseeing policy collaboration with authorities.
  • Participating in FiCCC project coordination activities, management and reporting.

We value candidates who possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill broad and complex topics into clear, comprehensible messages. You also can collaborate smoothly with various stakeholders both internally and externally. We hope you have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive and hands-on attitude to work is a natural way of working for you, combined with a service-oriented mindset.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Ability to understand microchip technology sufficiently from a communications perspective
  • Experience in technology and science communication
  • Proven ability in using various communication tools and platforms
  • Proficiency in managing complex communication scenarios

  • Fluency in English and Finnish, both written and verbal
