JOB SUMMARY:

The role involves collaborating closely with the sales team to deliver technical expertise for Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd. (ONT) products, ensuring successful customer application. It focuses on building strong relationships with scientists to position ONT as their preferred supplier. Responsibilities include providing pre-sales support through presentations, seminars, and technical calls, as well as assisting customers throughout their sequencing workflow—from experimental design to data analysis. The goal is to drive device utilization and revenue growth.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ph.D degree in life sciences or equivalent commercial experience
• Strong lab experience with expertise in genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, and related fields.
• Knowledge and practical experience with NGS platforms.
• Experience in designing novel experiments.
• Proficiency in sample preparation methodologies (e.g., DNA isolation, fragmentation).
• Skills in data analysis and interpretation of biological data.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Experience in giving presentations, teaching, or training scientists.Previous commercial experience in a customer-facing role.
