  • Transfer engineering code to production environment. Develop and maintain code (Python) for automating custom manufacturing and test stations.
  • Implement software solutions to enhance manufacturing and testing efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability.
  • Transfer manufacturing know-how to customers and assist them in establishing their own manufacturing lines based on Lumotive’s reference design.
  • Work directly with customer production teams to resolve manufacturing issues, validate their lines, and certify that their assembly lines meet Lumotive’s quality standards.
  • Provide on-site support to customers as needed to ensure successful manufacturing line setup and operation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optoelectronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the assembly and manufacturing of optoelectronic devices and sensors.
  • Experience in setting up, maintaining, and qualifying manufacturing lines.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for automating manufacturing and test processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and support customers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, including international travel.
