Job Description
As an Engineer, Field Applications (Intern), you will be placed in a developmental program that offers real-world experience learning about ADI’s technologies, customer support, and opportunity generation. During the program, you will receive professional development opportunities and mentorship - providing an excellent foundation for technical expertise and soft skills growth.
A sampling of some of the skills you will develop:
- Circuit analysis, debug, and design
- Systems thinking and analysis
- Proposing technical solutions for both circuit-level and system-level challenges
- Prototype development including hardware and software
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships – both internal and external
- Educating others about ADI’s solutions through technical presentations and demonstrations
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Assisting in the evaluation and design of customer systems – hardware and software
- Troubleshooting customer hardware and software/firmware performance issues
- Understanding and disseminating customer system requirements and market trends
- Contributing to internal product development strategy and product definitions
- Cultivating relationships and influence with ADI’s engineering, marketing, and sales teams
Qualifications
- BSEE or equivalent in-progress
- Basic understanding of electronic schematics, layout, and components required
- Experience with electronics lab measurement and soldering equipment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Self-motivation and capability to work autonomously
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and set priorities
- Solid communication skills and comfort presenting technical topics
- Agility and desire for continuous learning
