Job Description
As an Engineer, Field Applications (Intern), you will be placed in a developmental program that offers real-world experience learning about ADI’s technologies, customer support, and opportunity generation. During the program, you will receive professional development opportunities and mentorship - providing an excellent foundation for technical expertise and soft skills growth.

A sampling of some of the skills you will develop:

• Circuit analysis, debug, and design
• Systems thinking and analysis
• Proposing technical solutions for both circuit-level and system-level challenges
• Prototype development including hardware and software
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships – both internal and external
• Educating others about ADI’s solutions through technical presentations and demonstrations

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Assisting in the evaluation and design of customer systems – hardware and software
• Troubleshooting customer hardware and software/firmware performance issues
• Understanding and disseminating customer system requirements and market trends
• Contributing to internal product development strategy and product definitions
• Cultivating relationships and influence with ADI’s engineering, marketing, and sales teams

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent in-progress
• Basic understanding of electronic schematics, layout, and components required
• Experience with electronics lab measurement and soldering equipment

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Self-motivation and capability to work autonomously
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and set priorities
• Solid communication skills and comfort presenting technical topics
• Agility and desire for continuous learning
