JOB TITLE: FIELD APPLICATIONS - PRODUCTION, PROCESS AND ANALYTICS (PPA)

Essential responsibility is to provide pre- and post-sales application support for the business. Including but not limited to developing and exploring new solutions for customers in order to generate demand and/or opportunities, providing post sales commissioning and training support for new and existing customers.

As a Field Applications, you will provide scientific expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of BEA products. You will demonstrate feasibility of applications, provide consultation to prospective users and ensures product application/solution is functioning to specifications. You will be working with commercial team in gaining commercial success and to develop business strategies to drive market growth together with Channel Partners, enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
Key Job Functions and Accountabilities:
1. Strong communicator and work with resources from Business Units and other regions globally to provide and deliver application solutions to customers, New Product Introduction, Application problem solving and effective users’ training to enable customers to appreciate and use BEA instruments with confidence and strong results. At the same time, to support commercial activities in assigned territories and accounts.
2. Run demo lab setting up and daily operation including overall planning, technical specification, plan and order equipment, install and commissioning equipment.
4. Assist in lead generation by developing sales or marketing materials (sales presentation, application notes and technical information for customers); joining seminars or workshops and participating trade shows.
5. Provide and coordinate efficient support and training to channel partners in country to develop their application proficiencies and as such increase chances to business success and growth.
6. Run effective use of demo instrument available to help provide support to customers and commercial activities.
7. Collaborate and develop effective training programs, to deploy technical advancement from the Business Unit for the regional market.
8. Work closely with Regional Commercial Leaders and Marketing teams in marketing/sales activities in the region.
Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Geology/Mining, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or other technical/science degree. Post graduate qualification in related field is an advantage.

  • 3-5 years working experience in similar field, especially in XRF, XRD and/or OES instrumentation, with strong technical proficiency and good communication skill.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge in cement, mining, metals industries.
  • Knowledge and experience to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentations and application notes

  • Computer literate in MS Office, CRM, SFDC
  • High willingness to learn PPA product portfolio
