Description:
Bramble Homecare is a family-run home care company specialising in domiciliary and complex care and supporting people in their own homes. We take huge pride in providing compassionate and person-centered care to our vulnerable community.
As a Field Care Manager, you will travel across South Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, and Tewksbury, visiting our clients and care workers, completing the initial assessment, and carrying out care plan reviews. You will be working alongside other healthcare professionals as well as liaising with clients and their families.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Previous experience in social care as a supervisor or assessor.
- Previous care role experience.
- Be able to work under pressure, set priorities, and stick to deadlines.
- Have excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
- Be flexible and able to sometimes work outside of normal working hours and occasionally work bank holidays and weekends.
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required for this position.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out duties to enable BHC to continue to comply with and meet all standards relevant to national regulation and local authority requirements.
- Carry out the initial care plan assessments for new service users.
- To carry out monthly audits on service users’ files, MAR charts, and communication logs.
- Give on-going support to new and existing staff and participate in the induction and shadowing, ensuring all shadowing forms are filled out and handed into the office promptly.
- Hands-on care: hours per week (to be confirmed), which may increase in periods of annual leave and high sickness rates.
- Ensuring all calls are covered in line with service user needs and staff availability.
- Participate in the rostered on-call.
