Description:

The Field Communications Technologist will lead the implementation and maintenance of advanced telecommunications systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and strategic insight to optimize communication networks, ensure system reliability, and drive technological innovation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on field experience in telecommunications systems and network infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in implementing and managing complex telecommunications systems.
  • Expertise in telecommunications hardware (e.g. Structured Cabling, DC wiring, Fiber splicing).
  • Proficiency with Cable testing, Microwave Radio Troubleshooting
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Must be willing to travel.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, and maintain cutting-edge telecommunications systems.
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance analysis for telecommunications systems to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Lead technical projects and act as a subject matter expert on telecommunications technologies.
  • Ensure telecommunications systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to evaluate telecommunications hardware and services.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Research emerging telecommunications technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization’s telecommunications strategy.
