POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Engineer provides technical engineering support to project supervisors and craft workforce to ensure all construction complies with all appropriate standards, codes and specifications. The Field Engineer must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have good communication and client service skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 Year Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. May substitute required education degree with related experience on a one-to-one basis
- 3 years of industry experience
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate commitment to an injury-free environment through own actions and mentoring others
- Supports/assists in implementation of Operation Zero and all Manhattan safety policies
- Participate in performing survey layout for construction control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials
- Maintain record documents
- Material takeoffs for self-perform work
- Research of drawing interpretations, problems, and errors
- Verification that all completed work complies with drawings and specifications
- Strong knowledge of the contract specifications and documents
- Verify all survey monuments and markers
- Assist in subcontractor coordination
- Responsible for conducting themselves in accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibiting attributes matching the Way We Work.
- Other duties as assigned
