JOB DESCRIPTION
- You will have the responsibility to adhere to operational processes disciplines as well as escalation of issues internally and externally as appropriate to deliver a high level of customer service. This includes Incident, Change and Problem tickets according to established KPIs.
- Your experience, knowledge and skills in RF site, RF principles and backhaul technology will allow you to enhance the skills within the Field Services Team for additional support duties for the QGWN network.
- You will identify, and recommend areas of improvement to improve service quality. This will include 3rd party contractors, auditing their work, reports, results, and ensuring compliance with the contractual requirements of the managed service.
- Comply with Motorola Quality policies and practices.
- Interact with other internal business units in supporting QLD/NT based customers.
- Good problem solving skills and decision making abilities.
- Be part of the resource loading forecast for baseline support obligations that requires staff utilisation for staff capacity planning and business growth.
- Participate in the On Call Roster for after hours primary response.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Minimum of six years in a radio communication (LMR, Trunking, Digital) service environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience in RF principles, RF site build infrastructure, site requirements, and prerequisites of RF site maintenance and planned maintenance activities.
- Ability to expand in areas of network IP configuration/TCNT/CompTIA/CCNA.
- Experience in the use of digital communications test equipment and interpreting results such as modulation constellation or antenna sweep graphs.
- Experience in LMR APCO25/TrBo Digital Radio Communications environment or equivalent (both Trunked and Conventional systems including Simulcast).
- Strong customer and team focus, contribute to develop the Field team to enhance and upskill knowledge, skills, and experience.
