REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Active federal security clearance with an SSBI
  • Six years of general work experience
  • One year of experience working on the NBIB project or other government background investigations
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills; working in multiple system simultaneously
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, exercise good judgement, make independent decisions and lead with positivity and encouragement to empower a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all client groups as a representative of Peraton
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality ethics and integrity
  • Must be dependable, highly responsible and have exceptional customer services skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Travel as required
  • Sit for long periods of time

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior management experience preferred but not required

    $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Peraton is seeking to fill a critical role for a full-time Field Manager for our Risk Decision Group’s Southwestern Region.
This position is 100% remote however, we are looking for a candidate that lives within the Southwest Region.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Field Manager will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Lead and manage a diverse group of remote field investigators; monitoring the progress of field investigations in association with timely completion within established customer contract guidelines
  • Lead and facilitate an empowering environment through communication, accountability, and motivation.
  • Ensure a quality product is provided to clients and customers in a timely manner
  • Provide investigator case workload management as well as oversight of the investigator workforce in a designated area of the country.
  • Work with the Project Control Coordinators to provide efficient case assignments
  • Provide on-going oversight and instruction regarding new policies, clarifications and guidance put forth by DCSA as well as other customers and Peraton.
  • Provide daily supervision including hiring, training, evaluations, disciplinary action, coaching, counseling and termination actions with direct reports
  • Manage supervisory administrative processes including, time off requests, payroll approval and submission, and preparation of investigator workload reports
  • Effectively utilize government and internal database reports to manage investigators and workload assignments
  • Work cross functionally with other field management teams and support functions to execute to contractual and corporate requirements
  • Prepare for and conducts regular telephonic conferences for field staff, conducts field visits as needed
  • Furnish management with data and recommendations for staff promotions, pay increases, bonuses and awards
  • Other duties as assigned
