Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY

  • Responsible for the execution of the market access strategy, and leading interactions with payers and key stakeholders with the purpose of achieving and maintaining reimbursement of AZ BBU Portfolio in Kuwait
  • Based in KUWAIT
  • Reports directly to the Gulf Market Access Head

PRICING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the pricing team on the development of the pricing and reimbursement strategy that optimizes the life-time value of the company’s products, in collaboration with the Market Access Head and in line with corporate guidance:
  • Formulate pricing strategy required to execute brand strategy.
  • Assessment of the pricing competitive landscape
  • Map and assess the business impact of current and future market access environment & price regulation changes
  • Work on the elaboration of innovative pricing schemes and managed entry agreements
  • Work closely with MA Head & commercial Team on the development of pricing strategy & optimal Recommended Minimum Price (RMP) to maximize winning potential

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Experience in KUWAIT Market
  • Internal Candidates: Minimum 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in the Gulf markets, of which 1 year is in a Managerial Position.
  • External Candidates: Minimum 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in the Gulf markets, of which 1 year is in a Market Access Role.
  • Strong performance track record.
  • Demonstrated strong oral, written and group communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills – Influencing, negotiation, collaboration and team work
  • Effective analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Leadership & autonomy to initiate & execute responsibility under minimum guidance

DESIRABLE FOR THE ROLE

  • Degree in Health Economics/Pharmacoeconomics
  • Strong commercial background
  • Previous experience in different portfolios in primary and specialty care
