Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The Field Marketing and Event Team Lead under the direction of the Business Development and Events Manager, is responsible for building corporate and community relationships to drive customer acquisitions and revenue. The Field Marketing and Event Team Lead works cross functionally to turn opportunities into sales and sign ups to meet or exceed business objectives. This role prospects to new businesses and clients within service areas in Canada to ensure continual opportunities for business growth. The Field Marketing and Event Team Lead also organizes, executes and ensures the success of in-person and virtual activations such as community events, trade shows and markets by hiring, training and scheduling field ambassadors. This is an hourly contract position of up to 40 hours per week mostly spent in-market executing on activations.

OTHER IN-SCOPE DUTIES:

  • Meet or exceed agreed sales and acquisition targets through negotiating and closing business deals
  • Stay up-to-date on Fresh Prep’s product and service offerings
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Track and record activity on accounts and ensuring that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales management system
  • Handle client objections by clarifying information, emphasizing benefits, and working through differences to a positive conclusion
