Description:

ABOUT US

Risk Ledger is developing a network of connected organisations, all working together to defend against cybersecurity attacks in the supply chain.
Organisations rely on us to establish trust, through sharing their security maturity and visualising the risks posed by their supply chain ecosystem. And we’re already trusted by customers like ASOS, Snyk, BAE Systems and the NHS.
We are putting together an amazing and talented team from a diverse set of backgrounds and skillsets to drive us towards our vision. Risk Ledger is built on the respect we have for one another and our users, united by our shared values and mission.
Every one of us is still learning: it’s how we grow as individuals. We’re curious. We’re ambitious. And we’re humble and honest. At Risk Ledger, we aim high to find the best solutions we can and always put our users first.

THE TEAM

Risk Ledger seeks a customer-focused, data-informed field marketing manager to drive demand through field programs.
We already have two team members (content & digital/growth) and a Head of Marketing leading the team. We are looking for someone who can own the field marketing strategy alongside the Head of Marketing, taking what we have in place today and moving fast to mature the function.
There couldn’t be a better time to join the marketing team at Risk Ledger. We’re entering our next growth stage; we have a healthy runway, a sustainable approach to scaling and a driven and energetic team aligned and bought into our strategy. We are ready to tell the world about what we have been up to and our mission to secure the global supply chain.

YOU’LL HAVE;

  • A proven track record with B2B field marketing experience within a software/SaaS business. Ideally you’ll have an understanding of the opportunities and challenges of a business at an earlier stage / post-Series A stage of growth.
  • Experience building and delivering high-impact, creative field marketing campaigns, events, and executive and account-based marketing programs with a clear understanding of what success looks like
  • High EQ and approachable with a strong ability to communicate & engage clearly and concisely, working effectively and credibly with different stakeholders both internally and externally
  • A growth mindset and proactive attitude in seeking opportunities to improve as an individual contributor but also how the business might mature and evolve as we enter this next stage of growth
  • The self-starter attitude and a true sense of initiative that it takes to work in a relatively early-stage startup including the ability to maintain an optimistic outlook driven by a genuine belief in our product and the journey we’re on to revolutionising supply chain security
  • A methodical, structured, organised yet adaptable style of working including highly effective prioritisation and time management with comfortability working to multiple deadlines at any given time
  • A strong commercial mindset with a deep understanding of the business, especially the GTM engine and how your contribution can ensure the greatest possible impact to revenue growth
  • A demonstrable passion and creative spark for doing things differently with both tried and tested method(s) as well as an open mind for testing new approaches
    Please note that this role will require significant travel. It’s always hard to say exactly how much but we anticipate you’ll spend 30-40% of the year supporting in-person events.

Responsibilities:

THIS ROLE

Collaborating with our Sales, Customer Success, and wider marketing team, you will develop, plan, and execute targeted marketing programmes to generate awareness, build a quality pipeline, and move prospects through the sales cycle.
You’ll work across multiple verticals, developing exciting and engaging events that enhance our brand, build relationships with new and existing customers, and help drive interest in Risk Ledger at all levels, up to C-level executives.

IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL;

  • Research, plan, and execute Risk Ledger’s events plan, including third-party industry trade shows, regional conferences, and Risk Ledger-driven virtual and physical events series.
  • Plan bespoke events aligned with our community strategy, including regional hospitality field events.
  • Own and drive logistics and execution of all planned events; help shape the theme to align with the brand guidelines. Work with outside vendors, oversee fulfilment/inventory levels, and manage events’ sales staffing.
  • Support Risk Ledgers demand generation and revenue targets through field and industry events.
  • Collaborate with industry communities, such as FS-ISAC, to maintain and grow critical partners to strategically grow risk ledgers.
  • Maintain direct alignment with the go-to-market function regarding all pre and post-event communication, marketing-driven campaigns, and event promotion strategy.
  • Evaluate all regional campaigns’ impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment.
