POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all of our industry teams, including our Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Owners (AECO), Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing and Technology specific teams. You will plan and execute a wide range of field marketing events and promotional campaigns, catering to different personas, from technical users to C-level executives. This includes organizing and managing events such as executive meetings, lunch & learns, and trade shows, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for our clients.
This role requires extensive travel across Canada to attend and oversee the successful execution of events and campaigns, making sure that every detail aligns with our brand and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Execution: Organize and manage trade shows, exhibitions, product demonstrations, executive events, lunch & learns, and various other field marketing events and campaigns. Coordinate logistics, negotiate with vendors, and ensure seamless execution across all events.
  • Support Multiple Industry Teams: Collaborate with teams in architectural, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and advanced manufacturing sectors to tailor event experiences to the specific needs and preferences of their target personas.
  • Local Market Research: Conduct research to understand local market conditions and customer preferences, adjusting marketing strategies to meet regional demands.
  • Brand Representation: Represent SolidCAD at various field events, ensuring alignment with our branding guidelines. Train event staff to effectively communicate the brand message and coordinate in-person at events.
  • Lead Generation: Collaborate with the Director of Marketing/Marketing Team Lead to create lead generation campaigns, track leads post-activity. Work with sales teams for execution on follow ups with prospects post-event to maximize conversion opportunities.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Develop and execute promotional campaigns tailored to local audiences. Coordinate with the central marketing team to ensure message consistency.
  • Sales Support: Provide marketing materials and product information to sales teams. Assist in aligning field activities with broader sales objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Execute and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Work with various teams to ensure consistent messaging, track campaign performance, and adjust strategies based on analytics and feedback.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze the effectiveness of field marketing campaigns. Report outcomes and ROI to inform future strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets for field marketing activities, ensuring all expenses align with financial guidelines set by the Director of Marketing.
  • Digital Integration: Collaborate with the SEO Specialist and Content Marketing Specialist to integrate digital tools and platforms, including social media, to enhance the impact of field activities.
  • Physical Asset Management: Manage the shipment, ordering, and replacement of physical assets for events, including displays, promotional materials, and technology. Ensure all assets are accounted for, properly maintained, and ready for use at each event.
