Responsibilities:

As a Field Manager, you will be at the forefront of our research operations. Imagine being the driving force behind high profile research projects that impact communities nationwide. You will lead and motivate a team of passionate face-to-face interviewers and field support staff who engage with Australians every day, asking important questions that contribute to our collective knowledge. Your leadership will shape the success of our projects and make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruit, train, and support interviewers, providing ongoing guidance with the assistance of the Head of Field Operations and internal project teams.

  • Manage workforce allocation, ensuring optimal interviewer coverage for each research project.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and promptly resolve any issues or queries.
  • Develop and enhance training materials and implement training for interviewers to ensure high-quality data collection.
  • Maintain regular communication with project staff, senior management, and other field staff to ensure well-planned and managed projects.
  • Provide accurate reporting on project budgets, KPI targets, and progress for key stakeholders.
  • Manage field logistics and administrative tasks, including scheduling, onboarding/offboarding, training, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to oversee the production and distribution of field materials.
  • Ensure accuracy and suitability of survey instruments, sample management procedures, and workflows impacting field operations.
