QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Business development or sales experience is required. Preferably in medical aesthetics, skincare or related field.
  • Results-oriented “hunter“ mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and quickly establish trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunity
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English and additional languages is an asset
  • Exposure to CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

As a Field Business Development Representative, your primary responsibility is to generate leads and new business opportunities within the advanced medical aesthetics capital equipment (laser)sector.
Operating within the designated territory, you will leverage your business development and/or aesthetics industry expertise to source and cultivate new relationships, promote our products and secure meetings with Territory Manager(s).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Employ a targeted approach to prospecting and generating leads utilizing various strategies to identify and qualify potential new business. Including, but not limited to: cold calling, networking, attending events, and leveraging online resources.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Apply a consultative selling approach to engage clients in meaningful discussions, uncovering their pain points, introducing the SharpLight Total package, enticing demonstrations or discovery meetings with assigned Territory Manager(s)
  • Develop an in-depth product expertise of our portfolio offerings, our value proposition, and points of differentiation from competitors.
  • Build, maintain and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, tracking progress and prioritizing activities to maximize the progression through the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate closely with your designated Sales Manager and leadership to coordinate efforts, share insights, and optimize strategies to drive sales in the region.
  • Participate in subsequent territory manager-led discovery, demonstration and close deal meetings to support the transaction.
  • With support and direction, uncover and pursue additional sales opportunities such as add-ons or upgrades within our active client base.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and potential areas for growth.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to leadership through CRM in an accurate and timely manner.
