Airband are looking to recruit a Field Sales Strategy Manager - 6 Month Interim period with possible extension

Airband is an internet service provider bringing highspeed broadband to rural communities from North Wales down to Devon and Somerset. Having built our network our strategic focus is to increase our customer connections, and we are looking for a talented Field Sales strategy Manager to grow our customer base with both Fibre and Wireless customer connections.
Having high speed broadband enables people living in rural communities to work from home, study and develop their education, interact socially online which reduces isolation. It means you can communicate with friends and loved ones around the globe, you can achieve download speeds for gaming. It breaks down barriers and brings people closer together and it supports the heart of communities. Nearly all of us need it for Smart Phones and TV Channels. Broadband is another utility most of us can’t live without.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THE ROLE OF FIELD SALES STRATEGY MANAGER

If you are successful following the interview and selection process, you can expect to be doing the following in this varied role which reports to our Head of Sales & also works alongside the Residential Sales & Renewals Manager.
Field Sales strategy & development – Implement an effective Field Sales strategy with tactics to exceed company targets.
Field Sales growth & expansion – Implement a robust outsourcing strategy, onboarding & SLA framework supporting sales growth targets & business objectives.
Performance tracking & reporting – Develop & implement performance metrics in order to drive sales activities opportunity & performance, delivering against market & competitor trends & activities.
Collaboration & communication – Driving strong communication channels whilst delivering critical updates to senior management on sales performance, challenges & opportunities for business & sales improvement.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE:

  • Established Field Sales Leadership, Management or Team Leader within Telecoms or the Alt Net Sector
  • Success in scaling Field Sales whilst sourcing & managing outsourcing Partners.
  • Evidence of achieving high performance, and service standards
  • Proven evidence of analysing data to improve performance and informed decisions
  • Developed leadership skills with a customer-focussed mindset.
  • Results driven able to achieve within a values-based organisation.
  • Able to engage & motivate teams, setting clear & challenging goals, offering a tenacious, accountable management style.
  • Creative, innovative and solution oriented, able to respond swiftly within a fast-moving/changing environment.
  • Empathetic and persuasive, core communication skills able to engage and influence a variety of stakeholders.
