Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias, to join our installation team and work on projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will install, service and repair our market leading, customised range of BD Rowa -
automated medication dispensing robots into retail pharmacy.
This position can be based out of Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist with new customer installations including equipment setup and technical support for go-live.
  • Plan, schedule and communicate Preventative Maintenance visits and breakdown visits to fit in with the customers’ requirements. Comply with Preventative Maintenance, service agreement and support SOP’s. Ensure there is minimal or zero overdue Preventative Maintenance tasks by scheduling and planning assigned work
  • Ensuring that systems and maintenance schedules in designated area are maintained.
  • Providing technical support to customers, including machine commissioning and customer training
  • As a BD representative, exhibit professionalism always.
  • Responsible for documenting all work (accurate and up to date) carried out in relation to repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, performance, and electrical safety testing.
  • Responsible for maintaining records in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Working hours may vary at times due to customer demands and onsite requirements (after-hours and weekend).
  • All measuring equipment calibrated prior to due by date and not used beyond to ensure accurate calibrations are carried out

Skills and Experience:

  • Electrical trade qualification (A Grade license advantageous. Restricted electrical licence minimum)
  • Ability to complete technical repairs and upgrades to electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Read/interpret circuit diagrams
  • Build and assembly of capital equipment (essential)
  • Ability to complete electrical safety verification.
  • Strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting, interpersonal skills, as well as time management
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Flexible and adaptable with capability and willingness to embrace change.
  • Current driver’s license
  • Understanding of computers and assigned software
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Packages

Additional information

  • On call remote support required.
  • Available for regular travel and work interstate as requested
