Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing after sales remedial support to our clients on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in site carpentry is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver’s licence is required for travel to client sites.
  • Familiarity with relevant software applications and tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of timber doors and doorsets at customer locations.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions promptly.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and installations.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the proper use of products.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties in the field.
