Field service engineer

Job Responsibilities :-

• Responsible for meeting daily service and repair needs and driving customer satisfaction.
• Installs, repairs and maintains equipment in the field; provides customer training as required.
• Documents all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submits paperwork in a timely basis.
• Participates in service sales opportunities and assists with promoting and implementing revenue programs.
• Ensures that tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Assess product/equipment performance based on field support data; recommends modifications or improvements.
• Performs problem diagnosis, service and preventative maintenance on instruments for lab automation.
• Handles essential tasks as assigned and responds to change productively

REQUIREMENTS :-

• Must be an engineering in the following disciplines – Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronic, IT or related disciplines.
• Candidate must be diligent and possess good communication skills – oral or written – to be able to interact with customers and suppliers effectively.
• A team player.
• Have strong organizational skills and strong follow-up skills
• Able to complete all tasks assigned in a timely fashion.
• Possess a high level of commitment and initiative.
