Description:

OVERVIEW

Opportunity to work for a leading coffee and tea distributor.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess an existing technical background engineering and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. Within this role you are responsible for the install, service and maintenance of Traditional & Bean 2 Cup coffee machines, grinders, hot water boilers and water filter management.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

Reach / Forklift truck Certificate

Responsibilities:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, commission and set up Coffee equipment.
  • Perform pre-planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of service visits, including diagnostics, repairs, and completed tasks.
  • Maintain van stock and replenish as required from stores.
  • Document stock usage and report shortages
  • Carry out familiarization and cleaning training with end users.
    In addition to these functions, you may be required to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong electro-mechanical knowledge
  • Proven experience in repairing and maintaining coffee machines or similar vending equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service with a customer-first approach.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to deal with changing demands
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • IT Literacy
  • The ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to help others;
