A bit about the role…
Day to day, you’ll be working as part of a dedicated field service team reporting to Service Team Manager. You’ll have accountability of the Costa Express equipment in your region, carrying out a range of installation, repair and preventative maintenance work. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Diagnose faults, repair or replace equipment to Brand guidelines
- Follow all documented processes to optimise machine reliability
- Effective communication of issues, problems or solutions through escalation points
- Adherence to Warranty and Returns procedures
- Demonstrate first class customer service, driving warmth and loyalty in our partnerships

- Experienced in an environment with technical equipment and working in electrical and/or mechanical engineering role previously
- Experience with testing and repairing service equipment, and ability to handle and work with a variety of tools

Our City & Guilds Assured training programme has been developed to help you reach your full potential. At Express we want you to have the desire to continuously improve, striving to ensure that tomorrow we are better than today.
We have a world class academy, where we deliver your technical learning, which is bespoke to each machine proposition and this showcases all of our fleet and immerses you in our Brand. In your first 5 weeks you will be accompanied by Field Service engineer to observe the role and responsibilities together with hands on learning with our IT platforms out in the field. Then you will join our Technical Trainers and receive 3 weeks in depth training in our Loudwater Academy - encompassing: servicing & maintaining our fleet, fault finding using your technical knowledge. You will be supported and coached by our champions in the field to embed your learning, build your confidence and you will have access to our digital platform that will support you day to day! Our training programme meets the global quality standards set by City & Guilds and enables continuous improvement.
We will set you up for success so you can feel confident and understand our technical documents, complete your Electrical Safety Learning and be able to deliver the perfect coffee on every visit.
Working pattern: 37,5 hours a week, 1 / 4 weekends
