Description:

We are looking for experienced and time served professional laundry engineers in the Southeast region of the UK comfortable in a Field Based role. You will be joining a highly qualified and motivated team to provide best in class service and support to our existing customer base. You will ideally have a wide experience of fault finding and repairing all types of professional laundry equipment for any manufacturers as well as Electrolux Professional equipment and will be open to further training and upskilling. We offer local technical training at our training centre in Luton and onsite support from the technical team when required as well as training at our manufacturing factories in Sweden and France.
We offer a competitive salary, medical plan and company pension. Holiday entitlement is 25 days a year plus UK public holidays. You will be part of our Customer Care team reporting to our UK Service Development Manager. A company van and fuel card, uniform, laptop and mobile phone is provided along with the tools and equipment needed to carry out your day to day work.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 with occasional overtime when required. A flexible attitude to working around customers outside of these hours will occasionally be requested. You will have access to a company van with a stock of useful and popular parts at your disposal as well as the relevant tools and special equipment needed to work on our customers appliances.
Reactive calls are logged by our Customer Care team in Luton and uploaded to your work diary via our Service Tool. Some will be scheduled for a specific day and you will be expected to manage your diary for unallocated reactive calls and preventative maintenance visits, planning them in to maximise your

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Clean full UK Driving licence
  • Satisfactory CRB/DBS history
  • Conscientious, organised, and self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Able to manage, plan and prioritise your working day to meet the business’ and customers’ expectations and requirements
  • Experienced working on all types of professional Laundry and Finishing Equipment
  • Excellent Electrical and Mechanical skills, competent to work safely on single and 3 phase installations.
  • Competent reading and using electrical wiring diagrams
  • Excellent fault-finding skills
  • Gas safe qualified to CCLNG1 and CLE1 ACS
  • Well presented with excellent customer facing skills and a good telephone manner
  • Computer literate and able to complete job sheets and reports online
  • Able to work within the wider team and support colleagues when required.
