Description:
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team.
Do you have experience working with laboratory equipment? or Do you have experience servicing and repairing equipment in another industry? Are you looking to take next step in your career and use your experience in a field service role supporting customers?
We are looking for a Field Service Technician for our Laboratory Instruments department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, calibrating laboratory weighing equipment, such as balances, centrifuges, and water purification systems on customer sites in the Oxfordshire and South UK area whilst delivering excellent customer service. On occasions you will be working in our in-house workshop at our Epsom facility.
The team consists of 13 professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is available full time. You will be working in the field and ideally living near Oxford, Reading, Slough, or Milton Keynes, or living near the M4 motorway corridor with reasonable commute to London. There may also be some national and international travel required.
Responsibilities:
- On a daily basis you will be responsible for providing service and customer support during field and in house visits
- You will manage all on-site maintenance, installations, repair, calibration, diagnose errors or technical problems and determine reasonable solutions
- You will produce timely and detailed service reports, issue certificate of analysis for equipment in a timely manner
- Follow company’s procedures and policies as well as UKAS, ISO, GMP standards on customer sites
- You will work closely with technical team and share information across the organization
- Do you enjoy building relationship with customers? You will improve customer satisfaction; help maximise customer retention whilst providing excellent customer service
