Field Service Engineer
Job Description
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Become part of a leading company in the Healthtech industry and be a vital part of our Danish service organization for Precision Diagnostic and Image Guided Therapy. Your main focus will be on supporting our systems within Image Guided Therapy and Digital Xray. Opportunities for other modalities in our installed base in combination with our customer demands may rise.
We’d like to see a person skilled in analyzing a problem, being communicative, solution driven and who excels in taking ownership of any problem. You will be working mostly in the customer’s environment where the main focus will be on our advanced and innovative systems within Image Guided therapy and related systems.
Please note that this position is remote based (working from the field) and to cover the Jylland region - between Århus and Ålborg.
You are responsible for:
- Executing service activities such as regular preventative maintenance, emergency service, faultfinding, upgrades, installations according to the relevant Philips’ quality standard policies.
- Completeness and accuracy of service records with particular attention to test & inspection results
- Timely and accurate submission of service data, job sheets, field problem reports and other relevant administrative tasks as assigned.
- Serving as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.
- Reporting customer feedback and follow-up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner.
- Using appropriate measurement equipment (electronic and analogue) in a calibration controlled cycle
- Keeping an open and attentive eye out for business opportunities that will contribute to customer satisfaction and positive margin contribution.

Our Danish team of highly competent Field Service Engineers. You will also be working in close contact with great colleagues in Nordic teams such as Remote resolution, Technical Support Specialists and Customer Center. Our common core is to support our customers in the best way possible and to enjoy our work while doing so.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Relevant educational background within medical/electrical engineering – or similar.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience within field service, preferably within a hospital environment.
- Good at identifying and maintaining customer relationships and related contacts.
- Independent and service-minded with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Structured, organized mindset with a high level of personal integrity and self-discipline.
- Profound IT skills is a merit.
- Fluent in English and Danish language.
- Driving license (B).
- Willingness to travel.
